The Profiles Plus Fitness Suite in the Ryan Centre is open to anyone aged 16 years and over following a short Easy Start Induction to ensure the safety of all users.

The facility plays rhythmic music to suit all tastes and music videos play on the plasma screens.

There is an energising atmosphere with highly trained, friendly staff on hand to motivate and advise.

The range of equipment includes, but is not limited to - Treadmills, Exercise Cycles, Rowing Machines and Cross Trainers.

A range of Free Weights equipment is also available including dumb-bells, bench press, leg press and free weights bar and weight discs (up to 20 kg).

The Profiles Plus Fitness Suite at the Ryan Centre has close links with the facility's Health Suite and Swimming Pools, offering unlimited access to all three areas for Profiles Plus Members and combination price discounts to Pay As You Go members.
