The Community Learning and Development Service provides support for those with literacy/numeracy needs. Group and one-to-one learning programmes are provided locally based on individual learning plans, tailored to meet individual and group needs.
Community Learning and Development contributes, with other partners, to the Adult Literacy and Numeracy (ALN) Action Plan for Dumfries and Galloway. Partners include D&G College, Barony College, National Schizophrenia Fellowship (NSF), APEX, Job Centre Plus, Careers Scotland.
