The database provides you with up to date information on all events happening throughout the region. Click on a town name on the map below to search for events by town name or alternatively use the menu to search on the left.

Whats On User Guide

The What's On Events database is a joint project by Dumfries and Galloway Council and Dumfries and Galloway Tourist Board to advertise local events online. This is a FREE service.

If you would like to advertise your event, you can do this online. You will need to register with the website first, then once registered go to MyDGCommunity to Change My WhatsOn Events and click on Add WhatsOn Event.

Please fill in as much detail as possible. The more information a person has the more likely they are to attend your event.

Note that the event will not appear immediately in the "WhatsOn/Event", as the details of that submitted event have to be checked and published by the Events Administrator.

Every effort will be made to record your details, but we cannot guarantee to include all events and we reserve the right to edit information if necessary.
